Barbershop quartet delivers musical Valentines

Did you get something special for Valentine's Day?

One group of men is delivering messages of love through song.

It's Valentine's Day and these men are delivering flowers with an extra special surprise.

"I think it's a little bit more special than a rose and a box of chocolate," said Joel Johnson with the singing group. "Now you're getting a rose and a box of chocolate with a song and it's memorable."

This Barbershop quartet called the Shamrocks, delivered 'singing Valentine's.

"Some individual gives us a gift to deliver but we just go around and spread the joy of song," said Johnson.

The Shamrocks say they best part of their day is the expressions they see when making deliveries.

"You get all kinds of reactions," explained Johnson. "When you sing to the guys, they get embarrassed and they try to run, the ladies, they hold it together pretty well, but halfway through the song they start tearing up."

The Shamrocks made a delivery to Dorie Williams at her workplace. She was surprised by the singing valentine from her husband.

"[It was] unexpected, nearly fell off my chair," said Dori Williams.

Williams says this Valentine's Day is a sweet reminder of why she fell in love with her husband of 15 years.

"I don't think I can have a better husband, I don't think any woman can have a better husband," said Williams.

While the Shamrocks are finishing up their singing valentines, they plan to do this again for Mother's Day.
