VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

A former U-S president will visit a south Georgia school later this year.

George W. Bush will be the keynote speaker at Georgia Christian School's annual benefit dinner in Valdosta. School leaders aren't saying exactly when the dinner will be held or who will be invited.

"We're really excited that Georgia Christian School is celebrating it's centennial this year and part of that process has been using our benefit dinner to market what the school is to our community," said Brad Lawson, Georgia Christian School President. "We knew that when we got to the hundred year, we really wanted to do something really big."

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, former N-F-L Quarterback Terry Bradshaw, and former First Lady Laura Bush have visited the school in the past.
