The search for a Worth County man leads to his son's arrest on drug charges.
GBI agents arrested 24-year-old Brandon Boyd at his home on South County Line Road when they showed up looking for his father, Jeff Boyd, who has outstanding warrants in Dougherty, Lee, and Clarke Counties.
Agents found synthetic marijuana along with scales and packaging materials in the home.
"We don't have an exact amount on the drugs, they've been taken to the crime lab right now. It was an ounce or more," said Mark Pro of the GBI.
Brandon Boyd is charged with possession of schedule one controlled substances with intent to distribute. He was released on five thousand dollars.
Investigators are still searching for Jeff Boyd.
