Georgia State troopers say speed played a factor in a crash that killed a man Wednesday afternoon in Irwin County.
24-year-old Nicholas Williams of Coffee County was driving south on Frank Road, near the Ben Hill County line, when ran off the road, over corrected, and spun into the opposite lane.
His GMC sierra pickup struck several trees.
Williams was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. He died at the scene.
