The Tift County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard needs help to buy equipment.

The 10 Honor Guard members will hold a mother-son dance on May 10th to raise money to help them buy rifles, flags, and uniforms.

"We're very ecstatic about having this and everyone that's aboard, there really ecstatic about doing this event and think will we have a good time and everyone that participates will have fun just as well," said Dennis Reese, Honor Guard Commander.

The dance will be at the Tift County Recreation Center on Victory Drive from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
