VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

A drug bust in Lowndes County nets $24,000 dollars worth of cocaine.

Material to make and distribute cocaine was also seized.

Sheriff's deputies arrested Kenneth Bernard Johnson and Anthony Ceasar around 5 a.m. Monday morning during raids on a home on Bunche Street in Valdosta and another home on Golf drive in Lake Park.

"We are aware that the cocaine was being transported in from out of state," explained Lowndes County Sheriff's Office Lieutenant Stryde Jones. "We're still investigating that aspect of it as well. This investigation is by no means closed. Our agents are continuing to work it and follow up on information that was gleaned from the service of the search warrants."

Ceasar and Johnson remain in the Lowndes County Jail tonight.
