BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Former LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux is regarded as one of the biggest disappointments in school and perhaps Louisiana sports history.
He was the No. 1 recruit in the country during his senior year at East St John High School in 2004, yet was eventually thrown off the Tigers squad by head coach Les Miles.
Many LSU fans have harbored negative feelings against Perrilloux for years, as his dismissal was extremely damaging to the Tigers' program. The young talent became the epitome of "what could've been," as his transgressions cost him a shot at being a true LSU star and earning millions of dollars in the NFL.
In this candid one-on-one interview, the quarterback takes us down an emotional road, recapping the highs and unfortunate lows of his football career.
Now a member of the New Orleans VooDoo of the Arena Football League, Perrilloux pledges his demons are now behind him and that he truly is a changed man.
