TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

The Department of Transpiration is preparing for another ice blast to his South Georgia roads.

"We're reallocating some resources to some counties that are on the northern boundary of District 4," said District 4 Communications Manager Nita Birmingham."We are sending them a motor grader, spreader ... making sure they have enough of that salt, rock mixture on hand and have enough personnel available to work those areas."

On Monday, the regional headquarters in Tifton sent 11 plow trucks and 54 employees to help in Atlanta.

They still have more than 250 workers here to help safeguard bridges and overpasses that iced over two weeks ago.

Randolph, Terrell, Lee, Crisp and Wilcox Counties are expecting ice to hit the roads starting Tuesday night.
