BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

So far, there are no power outages across the state on Tuesday morning due to the winter weather.

Talking with Alabama Power representatives on Monday night, crews were optimistic about the situation while also monitoring the conditions very closely. A spokesperson said crews are ready to go nad have several trucks staged to roll out at a moment's notice.

There are crews to the south with bags packed and ready to head north if they are needed. Currently, they say they are not too worried.

If you have an issue with an outage, call Alabama Power at 1-800-888-2726.
