Police are looking for a woman accused of robbing a man at gunpoint after she went to use the restroom in his motel room.
The incident happened on Jan. 10 after two men met two women at a gas station on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, Officer Natalie Hall said in an email Monday.
The group headed for the men's motel rooms at the Quality Inn nearby. One of the women left for a long time to use the bathroom in one of their empty rooms, Hall said.
The man said he was robbed at gunpoint when he returned to check on the woman.
Officers released a surveillance photo of the suspect standing at the front desk.
If anyone recognizes the woman, they are asked to call Detective Lifsey at 931-648-0656 ext. 5298 or call Crime Stoppers at 931-645-TIPS (8477).
