(RNN) - If you're still mourning the death of Flappy Bird, that extremely popular time sucker of a game where players maneuvered a bird between pipes, Fall Out Boy has got your back.

On Feb. 11, the very day the app was deleted, Fall Out Boy announced on Twitter that they will release their own version of the game, Fall Out Bird.

"Rome wasn't built in a day, but this game was. In the spirit of Fall Out Boy Trail, we bring you #FallOutBird, coming this week to @GooglePlay & The App Store (as soon it's approved). shoutout to OG Flappy Bird, RIP," the tweet from Fall Out Boy read.

The band also posted a picture of the game which appears to be extremely close to the original, except with flying band member's heads instead of a bird.

The game is not yet available in the iTunes app store, and according to the band, is pending approval. Fingers crossed it'll be available by the end of week.

Mariah Carey releases single just in time for Valentine's Day

Mariah Carey's latest love song is here - and not a minute too soon. The single, You're Mine (Eternal) dropped Wednesday and we have a feeling it'll be the newest addition to plenty of Valentine's Day playlists around the world.

Carey released the audio of both the original version of You're Mine (Eternal) and a remix version featuring Trey Songz on Youtube.

On Monday Carey took to Youtube, via a two-minute video, and announced the release date of her upcoming album The Art of Letting Go as well as the release of You're Mine (Eternal).

The video teaser showed all of Carey's accomplishments, including all 18 of her No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and then listed the release dates.

Carey has released three singles from the upcoming LP, but none have topped the charts. Carey's duet with Miguel, #Beautiful, hit No. 15 but Triumphant (Get Em) and The Art Of Letting Go failed to chart at all.

We do have to give Carey credit for the Facebook release of The Art of Letting Go, though. She recorded a personal song and released it in the most personal way she could, we respect that.

The Art of Letting Go will officially drop May 6.

Civil Wars digital EP

New, old music from the Civil Wars is now out on iTunes. The group, which is currently on indefinite hiatus, released the Between the Bars EP digitally on Tuesday. It was previously released in 2013 as a vinyl, four-song EP.

The EP features covers of Elliot Smith's Between the Bars, Portishead's Sour Times, The Romantic's Talking In Your Sleep and Michael Jackson's Billie Jean.

Record Store Day

Public Enemy's Chuck D has been chosen as ambassador of this year's Record Store Day.

True to its name, the day celebrates the all-around awesomeness of vinyl.

Chuck D joins a list of previous ambassadors who include Jack White, Iggy Pop, Ozzy Osbourne and Queen's of the Stone Age's Josh Homme.

"The founding members of Public Enemy were, are still are, DJs. The tool and fuel for DJs has forever been recordings," D wrote on the honor.

This year's Record Store Day is April 19.

What girl doesn't like a quintet of attractive guys flash mobbing her with a Valentine and a song? Uhh, that would be no girl.

A group called Vocal Point recently surprised unsuspecting ladies with an acapella performance of a love song and a Valentine's rose  … and the reactions are predictably adorable.

And guys, we'll be at Starbucks at 3 p.m. Just sayin'...
