ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission says last week's Georgia Quail Hunt was a big success.

Sixteen business leaders from around the world, looking to expand or relocate, attended the three-day event.

Interim EDC President Justin Strickland says it's a great way to network and inform people about the resources Georgia has to offer.

"It's great that were able to host both prospects and businesses here because it puts everyone together in a relaxed setting to talk about the great assets that are here in Georgia and Southwest Georgia," said Strickland.

In 2013 Georgia was named the number one state in which to do business by Sight Selection magazine.
