FRANKLIN, TN (WSMV) -

The southbound lanes of Interstate 65 have reopened in Franklin several hours after a tractor trailer overturned Monday.

Franklin police say a traffic investigator determined a blown front passenger side tire caused the truck to travel through a guardrail and fall on its side near mile marker 65.

No other vehicles were involved, and it is unknown whether the driver was injured.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation reopened the interstate just before 3 p.m. after crews worked on the shoulder of the road to make the area safe.
