    The officers and deputies were taught how to safely train their departments officers in the safe and effective use of Tasers. Once they have completed and passed the two day course, these officers will return and teach their fellow officers.

AUTAUGA CO., AL (WSFA) -

Alabama State Troopers are identifying two victims who were killed in a crash on Interstate 65 crash late Sunday night. Authorities say 27-year-old Kimberly Livingston, a Prattville resident, and 22-year-old Marquita Speer, an Autaugaville resident, were killed after their disabled vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer truck.

The crash happened around 11 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-65 near mile marker 189. That's near the Pine Level exit in Autauga County.

Authorities say two other pedestrians who were assisting with the disabled Ford LTD and were injured. Their identities and exact extent of their injuries have not been released.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured in the crash, according to Troopers.

Numerous agencies responded to the scene including the Prattville and Pine Level fire departments, the Autauga County Sheriff's office, Alabama State Troopers and the Department of Transportation.

An investigation by the Alabama Department of Public Safety is ongoing.
