State lawmakers are halfway through the General Assemble in Atlanta.
State representatives say this is one of the fastest moving sessions they've ever seen.
Representative Winfred Dukes says its the first time they've ever had session during Martin Luther King week.
He says after the Federal holiday on Monday, they were right back in session. He's says the primary election date was moved up, and there usually in session until April, but not this year.
"Typically we are not usually out until mid to late April, so they want to get everyone home so that you have an opportunity to interact with your constituents and to be able to campaign," says representative Winfred Dukes.
