Victims named in apartment shooting

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Police have now identified the victims in the College Park Apartment shooting during a home invasion Saturday night.

20 year old Rashaun Macney was struck in the leg and transported to the hospital for further treatment.

23 year old Lewis Williams, 20 year old Ginea Jackson, 21 year old Lakeysha Mason and 20 year old Sabrina Tabreon were the other victims in the apartment. Police say several arrests were made in the shooting. Those names have not been released yet.

Police say the victims heard someone knocking on the front door. When the door was answered two armed suspects entered. One had a shotgun and the other had a hand gun. The victims told police that the suspect with the shotgun began shooting striking Macney in the leg. It appears nothing was taken during the home invasion. The shooting suspects are facing aggravated assault and burglary 1st degree charges.
