Stolen Iowa car caught by Crisp Co. license reader

CORDELE, GA (WALB) -

A Crisp County Sheriff's patrol License Plate Reader alerted on a possible stolen vehicle a couple of days ago.

Deputy Ben Sumner stopped the vehicle and identified the man driving the car and confirmed that the vehicle was reported stolen in Monroe County, Iowa.

The driver, 33 year old, Aaron Stout, of Oskall, Iowa, was charged with suspended driver's license and Theft by Bringing Stolen Property into the State.

He is being held in the Law Enforcement Center.

His passenger, David Castillo was later released.
