Alexandria Demetris Severson, 30, was convicted Tuesday evening for the June, 2013 armed robbery and aggravated assault of a guest at the Motel 6 in East Albany.
Daniel Ruhr was a guest at the motel, when he was accosted in the parking lot by Severson.
It took a Dougherty County jury about 90 minutes to convict Severson of aggravated assault, for hitting Ruhr in the head with a shotgun, and armed robbery for stealing money from him.
He will be sentenced later by Dougherty Co. Superior Court Judge Willie Lockette.
