Albany is now home to another Super Bowl champion.
Like New England's Deion Branch, Seattle Seahawk receiver Ricardo Lockette also played his high school football at Monroe High.
Ricardo's road the Super Bowl was not easy. He wasn't drafted out of college and he was released by three NFL teams including the Seahawks.
Ricardo though would not give up on his dream of playing in the NFL and the Seahawks brought him back to their team during the middle of the season.
It turned out to be a winning move for both. And a lesson for all of us to never give up on our dreams.
