THOMAS COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

We now know the initial charges against three people suspected in a multi-state identity theft ring. Devin Gresham, Derriane Woods and Antuan Trowell were arrested last week in Thomas County after police say they were seen going through cars in a parking lot.

Investigators recovered ID's and debit cards belonging to people from south Florida to North Georgia. Right now the suspects remain in the Thomas County Jail charged with two counts of entering auto, three counts of identity fraud and one count of possession of marijuana.

"Since they are from Florida and they have no ties to our community they are being held without bond," said Detective Scott Newberry.

Thomas County authorities say more charges are likely as they continue to work with investigators from other agencies
