ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Family and Friends of Ricardo Lockette, who plays for the SeattleSea Hawks, and is an Albany native, gathered to watch the Super Bowl and throw a big party in his honor.

Lockette's parents and brother are in New Jersey for the game. We talked with his Grandma, who says she's proud of him.

"I'm just really pinching myself everyday since the championship when they had is this real because it's the dream of every super bowl player to go the Super Bowl," says grandma Helen Lockette.

The says Lockette grew up with football, and played for Monroe High School.
