Gaines considers run for chair of Dougherty County Commission

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

County Commissioner Gloria Gaines, who represents district five, announced she's considering a run for chair of the Dougherty County Commission. 

The current chairman, Jeff Sinyard, does not plan to run for another term. 

She plans to discuss her thoughts with family and friends over the next week and will make her final decision in the next few weeks.

    Fire Fighters at Fire Station 2 reported that a man approached the fire station bleeding from a chest wound.  They provided first aid and called for EMS.
