GREENVILLE, VA (WWBT) -

The Greensville County Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing deputy.

52-year-old Deputy Percy Lee House was last seen in Skippers, VA around 9:24 a.m. Friday.

House was driving a marked brown Greensville Co Sheriff's Office Crown Victoria, year 2006, with VA local tag/110359L.

"That's all we have for you right now," said Deputy Mattox with the Greensville Co. Sheriff's Office. "But there will be more information provided later."

"We have heard reports that perhaps his vehicle was found." we mentioned to Deputy Mattox. "Can you confirm?

"We are not sure," replied Mattox. "We don't know. I do not know."

"How is everyone doing here at the sheriff's office," we asked Deputy Mattox.

"We are hanging in there," replied Mattox.

Family friends are terrified.

"My husband worked with him for years," said a family friend who did not want to be identified. "It just doesn't make sense."

Deputy Percy Lee House is described as outgoing and the life of the party.

"He likes to play the guitar and rock out," said the family friend. "He is just an all around good guy."

House is 6'8" tall, weighs 260 pounds and has hazel-colored eyes.

"He's not the type of guy you are going to want to push over or anything like that," said the family friend. "If they would have contacted media right after they sent the BOLO It could have made the Five O'clock news. He could be at home with his girlfriend right now."
