DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA -

Dougherty County students may not have to make up the two school days they missed this week.

School was canceled Wednesday and Thursday because of icy conditions.  The interim school superintendent says the state gives all systems a five-day grace period for things such as emergencies and weather, so the system is not required to make up those two days.

The superintendent will meet with the calendar committee and the school board to get their input before a decision is made.
