DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) -

Robin Hurst is in jail after about six weeks on the run.

She was indicted by a Coffee County grand in December on six counts of providing false information and writings to the state in a case brought by the Georgia Department of Revenue involving fraudulent tax returns.

The Coffee County Sheriff's Department arrested her around 4:00 Friday afternoon when they were searching for some stolen property at a peanut mill on Bowen's Mill  Road near Broxton.

Sheriff's investigators did not find any stolen property at the mill.

Hurst is not related to Hurst and Hurst CPAs where she was employed in a walk up business they had.

They fired her when they discovered some questionable returns and notified the Georgia Department of Revenue, who began an investigation.
