ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Even if you're not in a wreck extreme weather conditions can
damage your car.
If your car sits too long covered in ice or road salt, it could
damage parts of your car.
At DJ's Car Wash and
Quick Lube they've had to run some cars through the machine twice because they
came in covered with ice.
They say you shouldn't
wait too long to wash your car.
important is to get the salt off because the salt corrodes all the brake parts,
brakes are real important to your vehicle. It's important to get all the salt
off it, off the wheels especially," said Jeff Wiggins.
The folks at DJ's
also say you shouldn't try to scrap ice off any part of your car.
