VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

The Valdosta Lowndes County Chamber held its 102nd annual membership meeting today.

Around 400 business leaders and government officials from Valdosta and Lowndes County were at the meeting. They reviewed business highlights from 2013, presented awards and named a new board of directors chairman.

"Doin' everything we can to help the business community," said incoming Chairman Carl Holley, when asked what his goals as Chairman were.

"We're very much a regional hub; anything the chamber can do to support that business growth in Valdosta, we're for that process," Holley continued.

Outgoing Chairman Jay Prince says he, too, looks forward to continuing to help the chamber grow Valdosta's economy.
