The first passenger flight to come or go
from Albany's airport in a day and a half landed less than an hour ago.
Delta canceled all the flights from noon
Tuesday until the one scheduled to arrive at 8:36 tonight. It landed an hour and a half late.
The entire airport was shut down for a
little more than 24 hours because of concerns about ice on the runway.
The airfield re-opened at 3 PM and began
accepting cargo and private flights.
Thursday's 6 AM flight out of Southwest
Georgia Regional is expected to leave on time, but passengers should check in
