THOMAS COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

Since classes were canceled for school systems in Thomas County on Wednesday, many students took the day as a chance to head over to the Boys and Girls Club Teen Center.

The center gave students a warm place to hang out with friends from noon until 5 p.m. The students say the center is a great place to go because it offers supervised fun in a productive environment.

"Most off days I come to the center, and hang with the staff, and all of my friends up here, they always leave it open, we have fun, we go to the gym, the usual," said club member Devin Nash.

On regular days the club is open form 3pm until 8:30 p.m.
