ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

High level managers for the City of Albany and Dougherty County will meet Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 with Deputy EMA Director Jim Vaught, to finalize their plans for Wednesday's anticipated winter storm conditions.

Leadership of the Dougherty County School System will be involved, as they discuss whether schools will be closed as well.

As of Tuesday, numerous schools are closed today, and more say they will close Wednesday. Only Worth County has said it will close Thursday.

The Albany Transit System will make a decision on whether buses should run on Wednesday. If so, the last scheduled runs would be Tuesday night.

Public Works crews are standing by to respond to problems with roads and utilities.

WALB Forecasters expect a low near 20º Wednesday morning, with a high of only 34º.
