NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police were working two shootings that occurred at roughly the same time Thursday night.
The first victim, a 26-year-old man, was found in the 1700 block of Gentilly Boulevard with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to the hospital via EMS, where he later died.
The second shooting occurred in the 2300 block of North Johnson Street. An 18-year-old male arrived at the hospital via private car and is listed in stable condition.
Both shootings occurred just before 8 p.m.
No further information was available, and investigations are ongoing.
