Police ask for help in Sylvester robberies caught on camera

SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) -

Sylvester Police want you to look at surveillance footage from two recent robberies to see if you can help catch the suspects.

Last Thursday at 8:24 p.m. one man in a mask held a clerk at gunpoint at the Dollar General on Kelly Street and took off with an undisclosed amount of money.

His face is covered, but you may recognize his mannerisms or clothing.

Then Sunday night at 9:30 p.m. the Flash Foods at 404 East Franklin Street was robbed.
  
"If you have any information about these robberies that took place in Sylvester please contact Sylvester police at 776-8500 or you can cal 911," said Sylvester Police Sgt. Kenneth Washington. "We're connected to 911 to report any information you do not have to give your name but just please if you know anything about this please give us a call."

Police don't think the two crimes are related.
