Bullet fired into Albany woman's home

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany woman says she is scared in her own home tonight, after a bullet was fired into her home.

Angela Jinks was in bed when the bullet went through several walls.

Luckily no one was hurt.

Jinks heard several gunshots about 7:30 Tuesday night outside her apartment in the 21-hundred block of West Gordon Avenue.

One bullet went through her outside wall,  closet wall, a hall and into a laundry hamper.

She's lived here for 9-years and says guns have become a problem in the neighborhood recently.

Jinks said "Shots go off all the time here." How does that make you feel living here? "Scary, very scary."

Jinks thinks gangs could be to blame for some of the gunshots she hears.

Albany Police are investigating.
