The fake note has circulated through the whole metro Atlanta area and several businesses and major retailers have fallen victim to the fake note.
The U.S. Secret Service has issued a warning which contains information on how to identify what the counterfeit bills look like.
Atlanta residents, consumers and vendors should take precaution when handling cash transactions.
