A macaroni and cheese product has been recalled because of "misbranding and an undeclared allergen," according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The product, 9-ounce containers of "Kraft Velveeta Cheesy Skillets Singles - Ultimate Cheeseburger Mac," was produced by a Kentucky firm and distributed nationwide with a UsedBy/SellBy code of "02 MARCH 2014 - 23 OCT 2014," according to a release.

The recall affects about 1.77 million lbs. of food. The meals were made in a Kentucky plant. The U.S. Department of Agriculture says they contain hydrolyzed soy protein and dried soy sauce. Those ingredients are not listed on some labels.

The problem was discovered during a routine quality check conducted by the company. The company believes the problem occurred when a label supplier inadvertently mixed labels with incorrect ingredient lines, according to the release.

Neither the company nor FSIS has received any reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of the product.

No other Velvetta or Kraft products are impacted by this recall.

Consumers with questions about the recall can call Kraft Foods Consumer Relations Center at 1.800.396.5512.
