Brian Wesley McKever, 28, is charged with forgery in the 3rd degree.

McKever was arrested for attempting to cash a fraudulent check using the ID of Steven Thomas on December 19th. Investigators believe McKever is one of four suspects using fake ID's in attempting to cash fake checks.

Police say three other men tried to cash bogus checks at three different Regions Bank locations.
