THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

A restaurant favorite is planning to enlarge their territory in Thomasville.

Jonah's Fish and Grits is planning to open an extension of there already booming business in April. The owner of the restaurant has already taken all of the proper steps needed to get everything approved by the city, and he can't wait until visitors to the hometown favorite can decrease their wait time to be seated.

"We were very fortunate to acquire a contiguous property, we're definitely getting to the point that we can justify needing a bigger space, now we'll have more seating and two bathrooms," said owner Caleb Brown.

The new location is right next door in downtown , and the owner says he does have plans to continue growth.
