ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Albany Police are searching for three
accused check forgers who left incriminating evidence behind at banks.
Investigators believe 39 year
old Steven Thomas tried to cash a bogus check at Regions Bank on West Broad
Avenue on December 19th.
They say on the same day 44-year old Keith
Newsome tried to do the same thing at Regions on Sylvester Road, and 23 year
old Garrick Phillips did it at the branch on South Slappey Boulevard.
All three left their driver's licenses and
the fake checks behind when tellers refused to cash them. Call Crime stoppers at 436-tips if you know where to find any of them.
