Two men are in custody after a traffic stop led to the seizure of 4 grams of heroin and 24 pounds of marijuana, authorities said.

Det. Cpl. Kevin Hoover with the Combined Anti-Drug Task Force stopped a vehicle Thursday night on Interstate 10 between Vinton and Sulphur.

Patrick V. Roberts, 23, and Timothy Jerome Baines II, 35, were arrested after authorities said they discovered the drugs as well as a stolen handgun in Roberts' vehicle.

Roberts, of Virginia, and Baines, of Houston, were charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute, drug possession, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm in presence of drugs.

Baines' bond is pending while Roberts' was set at $17,500.
