ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

People braved the rain Saturday morning to run to for a good cause at the Marine Corps Logistics Base.

The second annual Barney's Run for Warriors was held despite the dreary weather. The run raised money for a service dog that will be given to a wounded veteran suffering from PTSD. Last year's recipient, a Lee County wounded veteran received a former service dog.

"Really enjoying it and its good Larry was able to come today to enjoy it with Camo. He would not have been able to come last year without the dog. Not only trying to raise funds and awareness of the problems of PTSD in our veterans and to help people in the future," said the Barfields.

Participates enjoyed a one mile fun run and a 5K.
