Clem leaves EDC

Ted Clem has turned in his resignation to the Albany-Dougherty Economic Commission

Clem has served the Albany-Dougherty Economic Commission for five years.

Clem left his post as Executive Director of the Bay County, Florida Economic Development Alliance, in January of 2009 to replace Tim Martin who resigned from the Albany EDC in March of 2008.

Clem, a former football player for the Troy State national championship team, said his role in Albany would be to build a team and try to win the championship by selling Albany.

Justin Strickland is the new interim EDC president.
