SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Tower Square continues to recover from Saturday's massive water main break.

CBS 3 returned to the scene on Bridge Street on Sunday morning and saw that the giant sinkhole is now surrounded by a fence.

Western Mass Electric Company told CBS 3 that power was back to the damaged part of the building as of 9 p.m. on Saturday night thanks to a generator.

They completed repairs to the damaged transponder just after 2 p.m. on Sunday, which eliminated the need for a generator anymore.

Springfield crews still have work to do on the sinkhole.

There is no word yet on when that will be fixed.
