Brothers arrested for Spurlock murder appear before judge
ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
The two brothers charged with murdering an Albany man three day before Christmas appeared before a judge at the Dougherty Co. Jail Saturday morning.
Judge Darrisaw read the charges and told 23-year old Demetrice Price, Jr. and 20-year old Kovarious Price they will remain in jail without bond.
Both were charged with murder and armed robbery in the shooting death of 35-year old Jamey Spurlock. Spurlock was gunned down after he got a flat tire on a dirt road off Mobile Avenue the night of December 22nd.
The Price's are also charged with Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Albany Police are still searching for a third brother, 18-year old Demonta Price, and a possible fourth suspect. If you have information, call the APD or crime stoppers at 436-tips.
