SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg Sheriff's Deputies said they charged A Duncan man after an afternoon of target practice ended in a chase, a crash and an arrest.

Deputies said Austin Bentley, 21, of Highland Drive, Duncan, was charged with reckless driving and malicious damage to real property Friday.

Deputies said Bentley and another man got into a dispute after they had gone target shooting.

The other man told deputies that he fled from Bentley's home in his truck, fearing for his safety. He said Bentley chased him down East Main Street in his own truck and rammed into the victim's bumper at a stoplight, according to reports.

The victim told deputies that he sped off down Berry Shoals Road, and that Bentley followed, and eventually crashed into the victim's car.

Deputies said three other drivers witnessed the chase and crash, and confirmed the victim's story.
