GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville police said sand trucks were brought in to treat ice on part of I-385 Friday night.

I-385 North at Pleasantburg Drive was shut down for a short time, according to police.

FOX Carolina noticed two cars wrecked on the side of the road near the intersection.

Officers said the road was reopened after sand was put down over the ice, but authorities caution drivers to watch out for slick spots.

The highway patrol said the DOT was also notified about ice on Mauldin Road in front of the waste treatment plant.
