BRUNSWICK, GA (WALB) -

Captured fugitive Aubrey Lee Price will make his initial appearance on federal arrest warrants Thursday in Brunswick, Georgia, and we are now getting a new look at the man on the run for more than a year.

A new image from the Glenn county Sheriff's Office shows a strikingly different Price with rock star long hair and a goatee.

Price, 47, was taken into custody by investigators Tuesday after a routine traffic stop.

Federal investigators say Price stole, misappropriated and embezzled over $21 million from the failing Montgomery Bank & Trust.

Price will face a judge in an initial appearance at 10 a.m. Thursday at the federal courthouse in Brunswick, Georgia.

Before his capture, Price was last seen in June 2012 in Key West, Florida.

Investigators say he faked his own death, writing a letter to acquaintances and regulators that he had lost a large amount of money, and that he planned to take his own life.

The FBI has been actively pursuing Price since his disappearance. Price was arrested by deputies on I-95 in Brunswick on a vehicle and traffic violation, and when deputies learned of Price's identity, he was taken into custody.

Price is charged with one count of bank fraud, which carries a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison and up to a $1 million fine if convicted. He faces additional charges in New York.
