WORTH CO., GA (WALB) -

Several motorcycle riders rode in honor of Worth County teen Dustin Hammonds Sunday.

Supporters met for a memorial charity ride at Jeffords Park in Sylvester. Hammonds committed suicide earlier in December. Police are still investigating whether bullying played a part in his death. They started at Jeffords Park and ended at Chehaw Park in Albany. Supporters say they want to raise awareness about bullying.

To know that they are not alone in this. That we have their backs. And were going to be here with them every step of the way. That's Dustin's Army. That's what we call ourselves," said Tanya Paramore, family friend.

I didn't get an opportunity to meet the young man or his parents before. But just from interacting with them they're very loving parents, very caring and supportive of the issue of bullying at hand," said James Shipp, Unique Riders Motorcycle Club.

The money raised from the ride was donated to the Hammonds' family.
