An Evansville woman told police that she found a stranger inside her home Sunday morning.

When police arrived at her home on Virginia Street, they said they found 23-year-old Wesley Nickens asleep on the couch. The victim told police she didn't know Nickens and didn't let him in.

Police said when they were finally able to wake him up, it was obvious he was intoxicated.

Officers said they asked Nickens where he was and he said "my house," but he was not able to provide the correct address.

He was arrested and charged with residential entry.
