Experts say flu shots are more important than ever as flu season continues.

Officials with the Georgia Department of Public Health have confirmed three flu deaths in the state this year.

They say the flu season has not been as active as last year but they are still encouraging everyone to get vaccinated.

Pharmacists say anyone ages six months and older should get vaccinated once a year.

Health information website WebMD is helping the public better understand their risk for the flu by incorporating an interactive map of symptoms by state and county.
