FITZGERALD, GA (WALB) -

A New Year's Eve Dance will support the fight against cancer.

"Putting on the Glitz Dance for Hope" will be held at the newly renovated Eco Ballroom in Fitzgerald. $25 tickets are on sale at several banks and businesses in Fitzgerald. Organizers say it will include good food and good fun to support Relay for Life.

"Obviously the American Cancer Society is something we all support. We have a big relay event in the Spring and teams just raise money throughout the year for the Cancer Society and this is one of our events," said Nancy Brinson.

All proceeds will go the American Cancer Society. The dance will start New Years Eve at 8:30 p.m. til 12:30 a.m. Tickets can be purchased in Fitzgerald at Planters First Bank, Community Bank, Colony Bank, Jolly Jewelers, Bella Rue, Eco Ballroom, and Nabilas.
